Humane Systems Trust is the condition in which a system becomes safe to inhabit because it no longer requires humans to perform psychological labor to maintain continuity.

A system becomes humane when coherence is externalized, stress remains reversible, and meaning stays human-anchored.


Definition

Humane Systems Trust emerges when:

  • the system never advances ahead of the human
  • ambiguity carries no penalty
  • timing is reversible (ΔR domain)
  • non-inference is structural (ϟA)
  • semantic expansion is prohibited (SBL)
  • vigilance is unnecessary

In this regime, trust becomes environmental climate, not interpersonal contract.


Relation to Ambient Architecture

Humane Systems Trust is impossible inside extractive, predictive, or meaning-generative systems. It requires:

  • ϟA — Non-Inferential AI (no prediction, no reconstruction, no anticipatory pull)
